Regain Your Confidence with Dental Implants

Dental Implants are designed to replace missing teeth. Whether you are missing one, multiple, or all your of teeth, dental implants are the preferred option in helping restore function and esthetics. However, they can be used to replace missing teeth, restore function as well as esthetics by renewing the appearance of a damaged smile. They look and feel very similar to natural teeth and have the ability to improve your quality of life. Dental implants are commonly the preferred method of replacing missing teeth by patients of Alexandria.

Dental implant consultation

Dental implants are a direct replacement for the missing tooth and tooth root. Small implants are surgically placed directly into the bone in the space left behind by the missing tooth. As they heal, the implants and jawbone will fuse, creating a solid foundation for your replacement tooth. Once this fusion is complete an abutment will be placed on the implant and Dr. Geyen will design a custom crown to be attached to the abutment. The end result is a sturdy tooth (or set of teeth) that will look and feel as natural as the ones you were born with.

Dr. Geyen is very comfortable placing and restoring dental implants. He attended a dental residency that focused on oral surgery, sedation and dental esthetics. It was there where he trained to place implants and obtain esthetic results. Dr. Geyen is excited to provide this service to the Alexandria community because dental implants can be a great option for patients that are missing one or more teeth, or may benefit from additional retention for their dentures. Dr. Geyen also offers sedation services for patients that may be slightly anxious about the implant process.
